Low in Volume. The mic is phantom power.
do you add any effects while recording vocals.
for now i have been recording vocals, and then amplifying in audacity.

Low Vocal Recording
Hi:
I am using AL 5, and I am doing vocal recording using a Audio-Technica AT2020 mic going through M-Audio Firewire Solo. When I record vocals they seem real low.
Is there any advice someone can give me to getting the best vocal sound? What effects to add, etc...

I am using a PC, with Firewire Solo. Since I switched to an external firewire sound card, I can not use Audacity for some reason. Audacity is set to the sounds card but record what I hear on my PC, so I can sample, and edit Audio.
So, I wanted to know if Ableton can do what Audacity can. If so ...
