Ok think I can see that by opening Keylab, that gives basic control to all V-Collection synths under one hood with Midi pretty clear to see.

Shame the keys aren't so great - heard this a lot.

Arturia stuff maps to their own synths only and it can even change presets from the keylab. The Kontrol series maps plugins that support the NKS standard, as well as all NI catalog. Look at IMW in the Barbican - government funded so a lot cheaper. You have to drive what you get out of the course more but everything is there to get a lot out of it and a Diploma if you want it. Unsure what the teachers are like now but you have access to some great gear and an SSL desk.
