I have exact the same problem with my new i9 MacBook Pro 16.
On an external monitor the fans kicks in direkt after the Ableton Live start, without starting any plugins or projects.
The fans are so loud, that I can't concentrate on making music and stay on all the time until I quit Live.

I´ve done it by myself, but I have note hangs with many sounds when triggering from external gear like push or a keyboard. No midi loop, ´cause the Tempest Midi out is closed in Ableton. Any help?

on my netbook ist takes 50% CPU and on my I3 it takes 16%. Almost unusable on slow computers.
Ist there any solution? Does Ableton know it?
