Sorry to beat on about it, but I’m still champing at the bit to find out if m4l integration means full compatibility with rewire. Anyone had a chance to check this yet?

You CAN use dummy clips with return tracks. Route the audio from the return track to an audio track, and place your effects on that audio track (leave the return channel empty). Now you can control any parameters you like using dummy clips on the audio track.

Yes, but Live somehow distinguishes two states - one is the state of parameters you open the device with and change manually and the other, when the parameters are changed via automation. So if after opening the project you have Send at 0%, then a clip changes that to 50% and then a new clip comes ...
