Yes, if they expose the parameters to Live. Anything you can automate, Ubermap can see generally speaking.

A quick upgrade and run through seems to be fine on OSX. Be sure to run Ableton first so it can do the app check before you run the script.

Id be very surprised if the problem had anything to do with the windows registry.

Did you confirm your text editor is saving files in Unix format? If not that Im gonna assume that windows side is broken unless anyone can confirm otherwise.

Is there a console for ableton? Maybe there is an error in the logs you can use.

I missed the response to my earlier suggestion but are you sure you are editing the file using UNIX text format?

I actually found the preditor experience kind a headache, but admittedly its been awhile since I last looked at it.

I've never tested it on Windows! Im editing using text wrangler and terminal here on OSX no problems. Is sublime text set to use Unix line endings?

If the extra line is there after you save it, it IS due to your edits. I suspect your text editor is putting ghost characters that is breaking ubermap. Easy way to test, delete the config, reload the vst so it generates a clean file and just set the flag to false. All this does is tell Ableton to us...

At the very end of your edit file after Ignore = True you have a line break. Can you delete that line so the e at the end of false is the last character in your document?

Can you post the raw cfg files somewhere? Are you typing in the text or copy/pasting it from somewhere? Maybe try a different name without spaces than Param 1? I would save the cfg after only changing one thing, and try to see which step it breaks.

1) You can always delete the cfg, and ubermap will recreate it so dont be afraid to experiment.
2) What text editor are you using? Maybe there is some phantom character fouling things up.
