I'm also trying to figure this out. I know there is a work around with the clips on the DAW screen (stretch notes). But I can't workout how to do with this within push 2, live/on the fly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I realized that audio clip show their position, you just need to use the Clip button: http://i.imgur.com/6uuktFk.png That's great, because audio clips are usually the ones with a weird duration. But I still can't find a way to see the progress for MIDI clips. Shouldn't the Clip button show the prog...

I really don't understand why it isn't already a feature. And I was even more surprised when I had the Push 2 in my hands and I couldn't work out where the Sampler wave form was...
