Re: Shove - Utility for Push 2 and other DAWs
Bought it, used it, and I really like it. Was about to buy a launchpad for Cubase before this because I was so frustrated. One thing, though, any chance you can include the octave up and down functions in another release?

Re: Is it time to finally buy an Ipad Pro??
Wait for the refresh of the Ipad pro 12 because it will most likely have force touch. Force touch will allow you to have velocity sensitivity...

Re: Shove - Utility for Push 2 and other DAWs
Awesome! Thanks for doing this, I've been waiting for something like this since getting push 2 a few months ago. I do work in other daws and playing push with all the lights off and not in fourths or fifths is just not feasible.

Re: Inexpensive Synths with High Modulation Capacity?
It would probably be easier for you and help with your creativity if you find an easy to program synth with lots of modulation capabilities presented in an intuitive way rather than using outside programs like m4l and live to modulate things. Massive can be had for relatively cheap, as can fm8. Zebr...

Re: Push 2 and Ableton slave to Pro Tools
Yeah that's the problem with ReWire, a 15+ year old technology designed for Reason before it could record audio. Live in "slave" mode loses Max and the ability to control advanced hardware like Push. At least on the Windows side there are a few developers that have figured out how to reve...

Re: Serious issue with Live 9+
I was wondering why this was happening. I wasn't getting this too much since I almost exclusively control live with my push 2 but it is really annoying when I do decide to do something with the mouse.

Re: Playing bass on a guitar in real time
It'll never pass for realism, but you could make it a stylistic choice, like Royal blood, who dont have a guitar but fill the higher end by pitch shifting and doing all manner of things to the sound of his bass.

Re: Mixing without monitors (moving to smaller studio)
Get a good set of headphones that's supported by sonarworks, get their plugin, and get waves nx and you'll be a long way towards replicating the feel and sound of accurate studio monitors. Open backs are probably preferable but closed can be more convenient.

Try downloading the beta and running that, or if you're on the beta try the regular one. Let us know what happens after that.

Re: Playing bass on a guitar in real time
If you're going for recording, another option you may want to consider is trilian. Ive heard people get decent results and I'm a bassist, as well. Pitch shifting is never really convincing but can be made to work with some surgery if your mix isn't going to have he bass sound naked.

Wouldn't you then have to go through and delete all the bad takes afterwards?

Re: PrEditor - Parameter Editor for Push 1 & 2 & Others...
Just purchased it. This is what I've been missing! The ability to rename banks is huge. Having 128 parameters to control when they're all arranged by bank names as useless as "bank 1", "bank 2" etc., detracts from the ability of the push 2 to be used as a controller for 3rd party...

Re: Fastest way to abort recording and start again?
I'm curious about this as well, because I just keep hitting undo, but sometimes it takes several presses and also requires looking at the screen to see that I don't go too far.

Re: Page up or down on push2?
Kinda interested in this as well since when you have suite, there's so many presets/sounds to browse through, it becomes difficult to navigate on the push 2.

Re: Broswer lag – How to fix/improve?
I don't really notice any lag on mine. Not sure if this is cuz I have a fast computer with ssds or maybe I'm not as sensitive to it. For those experiencing lag, are you on older or less powerful systems?
