Yeah, the upgrade pricing is pretty insulting. I think I may just refuse to do it. I feel it gets more expensive every time and those of us that have been doing it every year don't even benefit from all the cool freebies they give to new customers. jerks!
I think I'm done with Abelton.

OUCH!!
Why is it that the people who buy their upgrades every year, and support them every year never get to take advantage of the free stuff? That and the upgrade prices are really steep! I was pretty excited at first, but now..... ehhh. Plus, with the economy doing it's weird thing right now my business ...

OT: Murakami @ the MOCA
Hey,
anyone going to the Murakami show @ the MOCA tonight? It's free after 5pm. I'm gonna ride my bike down and check it out. If you see a douchebag on a bike with a yellow Warhol bag, it's me! Say Hi!!

Well, I've read some pretty lukewarm things about the A6, and the Ti's are out of the question as I wanted an analog synth. I had a micron, it was cool, but it had this annoying sound when you hit the key. Very faint, very digital. I don't know how to explain it. It was only noticeable in headphones...

I had an evolver and sold it. It was cool, but I just wasn't feeling it. The Little Phatty doesn't have enough knobs. I want knobs! Little to no menu/matrix type stuff. I was looking at a Voyager rack. The new Prophet '08 looks nice. Some weird independent stuff and DIY stuff. I want something that ...

I don't have a budget yet. I just started saving today. I guess it's more of a price/featues/how long it takes to save that much money kind of thing. I want knobs and sliders! Not opposed to modualr stuff, but that gets way out of hand in the the money sometimes. Something newer or reliable old stuf...

One synth!
Ok, as of taday I'm saving up for a synth. I used to have a garage full of hardware and I'm missing it. Some analogs, some VAs. I have a minimal prject in mind(minimal amount of gear not minimal genre). What would be THE ONE SYNTH you would recommend? I think I'd want analog. At least mostly. Like a...

I think I can set mine up to work similar to a 303 sequencer by adding a velocity and note length plug to each step. Actually, I have a velocity plug in there, I'd just need to change how it works and assign it to buttons instead of knobs. Assign them to a button on my bcr2000 and use with the right...

Yeah, it's like a drumcomputer. Old 909, 808, OBX type stuff. I miss hardware, but it's hard to travel with. I'd love to post my variation, but I don't have a place to post it from. I can send it to you. Just PM me your email. Mine is more like an old analog sequencer. 8 knobs for pitch, and 8 for v...

Default?
So today I built a step sequencer (with help and inspiration from other on this forum), and I'd like to know if there is a way to MIDI map defaults? I have each step set up so that it'll go -24 to +24 semitones using the Pitch plug-in. Is there a way to assign a button to make it go back to zero? I'...
