Clip resizing in arrangement
I play live music along with Live and need 100% hands-free backing tracks with easy readable visual cues. Session view is not an option, so I use an empty MIDI track in arrangement view with empty clips renamed to chord names and cues. What I really miss is the possibility to make the clip stripes b...

Arr. view follow ON by default + MIDI editor maximize shortc
Forgive me if this already is implemented in v10, I am still on 9 but upgrading soon. Anyway, I think I have pressed the follow button in arrangement view hundreds of times by now. Even after assigning it to NumKey 0, it's still annoying. Is it possible to switch it ON by default or at least give us...

Re: Certified Trainer requirements, some questions
A præsentation is not a problem :D I've been working with a choir for some years and have often been in situations where I had to teach audiences of different ages. While not being a professional speaker, I have some ideas what works and what doesn't. The rest is learning, producing and discipline -...

Re: Certified Trainer requirements, some questions
Thanks for the clarifications! I attended recently a Live workshop, where the instructor had experience, but was really bad at communicating and helping (not a Certified Trainer, though). Anyway, that got me thinking, and I definitely wouldn't mind a teaching job on the side. :D Have been playing mu...

Certified Trainer requirements, some questions
Hi all, I've been looking through this and other forums, but not really found answers to these questions: Besides knowing every nook and cranny of Live, is ownership of Push 2 mandatory? Suppose I prefer *insert company name*'s products more, will those be allowed? How long is the Certified Trainer ...

Re: Recording to a 128Gb or 64Gb USB Stick?
I've got a SanDisk 128 gb stick and it gets extremely hot. If I keep writing files to it, it gives me errors after a few minutes.. Once I copied 60gb to it in 7 gb chunks and taking it out to cool off! While it apparently still works fine, I'd say STAY AWAY from USB sticks when it comes to speed and...

Global tuning / transpose knob
Dear Ableton team, Please implement a knob for this. I have 70 flattened tracks for a gig and am about to play live with a pipe organ. I really hope it's at 440 or else I'll have to consolidate every track, detune it and repeat 70 times. It would benefit immensely musicians who play with not easily ...

Re: Vertical zoom of clips in Arrangement view, please
I know that thank you, but that's not what I'm talking about. Have a look at clips in Cubase or Bitwig, they are more rectangle-like.You can grab the "bottom of the track" on the right side where the controls for volume, panning, sends, mute, etc. are and make the track higher / lower.

Vertical zoom of clips in Arrangement view, please
I really miss the ability to make the clips taller. In Cubase they are very easy to view, almost like building blocks, in Live they are almost stripes. And it's a mystery to me why the Overview gets taller and taller until adding the 12th track, then from 13th it suddenly shrinks to a being very thi...

Vertical resizing of clips in Arrangement
Please dev team, can you implement the possibility in Arrangement view to resize the clips to be higher? Not tracks, but clips. It would be really nice and would improve the usability. Thanks.

Re: Ableton 10 suggestions
Vertical zoom in arrangement mode, so clips can become higher/thicker, Cubase style. (still love Live, will never go back).
