Thanks again for your suggestions. Actually, I have sold a bit of gear lately and got a bit more money. And, I have got my eyes on the Sequential Pro 3! A beefy monosynth may complement the peak well. And it seems very easy and quick to program. Very tempting! Waiting for reviews to show up...

I must have accidentaly change some setting in Live, because I can not use the computer MIDI keyboard to play virtual instruments anymore. When I activate it, the status bar indicates that z and x change octave and that c and v change velocity, but when I try to play notes with a to k, no midi seems...
