I was just just sent an invitation to a ten minute survey about my Live usage. In the end of this survey, there is a box to write whatever you think is missing in Live. This is a great oportunity to mention lack of pitch correction workflow - take the chance if you too get the invitation!

I have an idea of a possible reply to my own question - maybe it is the folders that are added to Places that also gets indexed for "similar samples" searches? I think so.

I actually already have a system where I put projects and custom samples on another hdd and my samples are stored in a folder named "LoopsAndSamples" on that drive. However, I have never specified that Live should ...

To tag all my custom samples myself in Live 12:s tagging system is a serious investment of time. Before doing this, I want to make sure it is worth the effort. Is it future safe? Where is this metadata stored? Can I make backup of this? Is it a big database file somewhere, or is it a metadata file ...

What folders containing my own custom samples are included when using the "similar sample" of Live 12? (I searched the Preferences dialog, but found nothing obvious).

Well, I guess that color preferences differs. But apart from the purple scale highlights and the lack of native pitch correction, version 12 is a solid update!

Why are the scale highlights always purple in Live 12? I found the Live 11 version of this much more clean and elegant when the scale highlights of a clip was the clip color itself!

I think it would make more sense to implement native pitch correction before ARA. With the improvement of scales in v12 and the introduction of tunings, native pitch correction would adhere to these.

More than 2k views and no response? Does that mean that nobody else uses these modulators or does that mean that the modulators are used but nobody else but me experiences problems with them?
