i've done all of the above, and noted too that the settings/mappings were already there, but SILENCE!
nothing happened!
this controller is not pining for the fjords, it is a dead controller!

i don't know what has been done to make it change to this (accidental short cut perhaps?) but when i am in for eg arrangement view, and click on, let's say a clip to focus on it, the second i click it i get a horrid and ditracting piano hit!
or when i copy and paste.
why is this happening?

i'e been really enjoying using a great little virtual rack system called caustic 3 (free for windows) which is not expensive for android and mac, and can work really well even if all instrument racks are filled up and each has the full two effects added to each.

i assume none of your channel levels (1audio/2audio etc) were not up in the red on master channel?

outwith "clipping" (levels too high or too powerful) then perhaps it may be something in between when the project is saved as a wav file, and uploading. perhaps you converted it to, for eg, mp3 on an ...

you are not making it clear where, or on what you are playing the karaoke track on, or from.
are you playing it on a media player so that both your song , and your voice are recorded simultaneously?

or are you dragging and dropping the karaoke file into audacity THEN, clicking record/play?

i'd just google or youtube for a HD sample of a real one!
