Re: 'Removing' drums from samples?

This is exactly what DrumExtract is made for, have a look at www.yellownoiseaudio.com.

Here is a video example.

Low latency out-of-the-box (without ASIO4ALL) on Windows

On Windows, ASIO4ALL is very useful to have low-latency, for example for a laptop's built-in soundcard.

But the major drawback is that once ASIO4ALL is used in Ableton, you cannot play music in Youtube in Firefox, you cannot play music with Media Player, you cannot edit a sound in SoundForge, etc ...

Is latency better with Win10 vs Win7?

I often use an external USB audio interface (with ASIO driver), and then everything is perfect.

But when I use laptop's built-in soundcard, latency is not ok "MME/DirectX". I have to use ASIO / ASIO4ALL but then it's not multiclient.

I'm still in Win7. Are things much better with Win10? i.e.

Is ...

Re: ShowDeviceSlots (Options.txt) and Live 9.7

You're right, making the track wider, and then back to narrow solves it: suddenly the title appears. It's a very small UI bug.

ShowDeviceSlots (Options.txt) and Live 9.7

Hi,
When using this in Options.txt:

-ShowDeviceSlots

I have the following issue: some devices have their names displayed (see on the right), but some others have no name display, which seems like a small bug? Is it?

32 bit and 64 bit VST plugins on Mac

Hi,
On Mac, the usual path for VST plugins seems to be:

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/

But then, how to distinguish 32-bit from 64-bit VST plugins? They seem to be installed in the same place.

Even if it's unlikely, a user might have an old DAW in 32-bit, and another one in 64-bit, and thus, he ...
