i fear it may be related to some of the ther issues people are having regarding using live and getting the pops and clicks

i'm using phoscyon on an intel macbook 2ghz with 2 gig of ram in it and only recently i have started getting a buffering problem in live it's getting right on my tits cos it worked fine with the same set before, but now i am getting the buffering problem that i didn't have a week ago i've tried chan...

just thought i'd bump this as i'm having a similar dilemma, but over a laptop

want to spend under 600 quid (ideally 500 - so that i could spend 100 on an external soundcard), and don't fancy getting a mac

has anyone any recommendations?
