With my volcas I use the external instrument plugin which will let you specify MIDI out and audio in in the same track. It may help to set the MIDI out to the beats to MIDI channel 10 as well, that is the default channel for drums and the beats is set to it by default. You can set the MIDI channel ...

I do have a USB/MIDI cable to connect my KORG via midi to the USB input of the computer. But I do have a simple MIDI cable too ...

I think the problem comes from this MIDI preferences menu. I dont know wich slots to tick..

Well first thank you for your fast answers. I tryed what you told me to do but I was right, there's no MIDI SYNC when I only Sync the KORG to the Soundcard so I have to connect it to the computer, wich is logic in a way because the software that generates the MIDI signal is on the computer.

Oh thanks ! Well yes I made everything like you said but I still got 2 questions:

- For the MIDI cable do I have to connect it from the KORG to the SOUNDCARD or from the KORG to the COMPUTER ?
- On the TOP right corner of Ableton Live software do I have to tick LINK or EXT ?
