Small buffer => high CPU load => dropouts / crackling. Big buffer => high latency => what you play or tweak is heard a bit later. Adjust buffer size to your system so : - CPU load stays just above 50% in a live situation - No more than 80% during a whole song while recording/writing/mixing. As said ...

most controls in Live work with unquantised floating point precission internally. This means you can type in "-0.0003" in a volume slder and it will do this. But: you cannot see it because the display will tell you " 0.0 dB". Robert i love it when i come on this forum and actual...

MCmu (Windows only) has an 01x dedicated hack that will let you use the "GENERAL" remote mode instead of "CUBASE".

Pretty strange... I've had a ReMOTE 25 for ages and never noticed this. I just tried with several Novation templates and custom ones alike, and as expected, monitoring does not show anything sent via MIDI when pressing the octave buttons. The unit is connected via USB, and has the latest firmware. L...

If I get it straight, you're using the built-in arpeggiator of your VST?

Then you should check if there is an option "hold" somewhere on the arp parameters, and in that case check it off.

Hope this helps.

I'd resample it (see Live's doc, or Google "track bouncing")? Make it a clip (Live exclusive, don't Google it)? Drag'n'drop it in arrange?

Does this help?

Partition.

Make several ~20 Gigs drives out of your HD, internal or external. You won't regret it, ever. You might feel sorry with a single 120 Gig (+) partition.

unless you are going to do 3d gaming and stuff alike, I'd say you're well off with what you've got here. Never mind video RAM shared. Many hits have been done with much, much less CPU power. Good luck!

Hello, the beta phase is now over. Many thanks to all who have participated, user input is key to a better MCmu. The free license winners will be notified very soon, and we'll keep watching for feedback on our community forum to improve the forthcoming versions (v1.1 is already on the rails). MCmu 1...
