Re: Scale awareness on/off ?

but, the state shown in the toolbar is reflective of all selected clips yes, but it's a bit of a red herring here. the issue is that this on/off can neither be controlled for the set, nor for the individual clips. In contrast this is a function that *can* be controlled for devices, so you CAN do th...

Re: Scale awareness on/off ?

Then, M4L API has access to root_note, scale_name and can return scale_intervals. yes, and not the on/off state of the scale awareness: Even though this can be controlled from a clip, it cannot be reached from the API, as it stands. That feels like an omission. Like, having to use the api to *trigg...

Re: Step sequencer similar to sh101, pro-one etc.

I don't think it exists.

Good thing is that you can build it.
Storing and recalling notes from a coll object is simple, bordering on trivial.

Re: NANCARROWS DELAY

duration and delay each have a section of:

notevalues
notevalue multiplier (*)
and an added ms offset (+)

so strums are just a case of setting the multiplier to 0, and creating your spacing with the offset setting.

There is no global change anymore, because, as you said, it messed things up.

Re: Midi CC "automapper" for Lemur project?

Lemur sending OSC into Live, MaxForLive device controlling Live via live.remote et al.

This is the way to go, in my opinion. Midi mapping is pretty much useless for something you want to use in multiple projects.

Re: NANCARROWS DELAY

is there anyone who could hack nancrarows delay so that ableton remembers your settings and you can save presets??? working on it - it would seem that this patch - like so many others - was patched by a spider on LSD, so I'm reverse-engineering and unravelling more than "editing", unfortu...

Re: Auto FadeIN Out

hi

no, I don't think that exists, actually. It does indeed sound like a good project to begin with.

have you done the max AND the msp tutorials? You really should do those, or the majority of them (I think fft knowledge is quite an advanced step, so I'd save those for later) .

Re: Step Sequencer Similar to NI FM8?

Isn't that more like an arpeggiator than a sequencer?

and chupachups; at any rate the one in fm8 is a melodic seq/arp, not a drum sequencer. And it's highly abstracted, and not in fact x0x, if you look closely.

Re: Beat-repeat repeat's led and other stuff unavailable in M4L

BeatRepeat is just about the first thing I replaced with an MFL plugin in my setup. I don't know man, even just a 10-minute hackjob with stutter~ will get you pretty far.
