Swing
Hi all, I created a max for live device to SWING! https://www.drumstix.nl/swing-small.png I was tired of spending time setting up Ableton Live's groove pool only to add a little swing to my clips, so I created this one. It has a Swing knob that acts like the Ableton Push swing knob but MPC style: So...

Re: Step sequencer and rec quantized notes should respect swing
that's exactly what I thought! I created a max4live device to easily add swing to a clip, to all clips of a track or to all clips in the song. But ran into the same issue. I always have to commit swing to the clips by pressing a button. Also, the swing amount isn't stored in the live set. That bugs ...

Re: timeline to follow jogwheel
oh now I see. I've spend a fair amount of time trying to get around this, but to no avail. There's a discrepancy between the play marker and the arrangement insert marker. Using the keyboards' arrow keys or clicking on the timeline with the mouse, these two will always be on the same spot. Just like...

timeline to follow jogwheel
Hi there! I'm using a behringer xtouch one with live10. In arrangement view, the jogwheel of the xtouch behaves unexpected. I can see that it changes the playhead, but the timeline doesn't follow it. So for example when I'm zoomed in on beat 100 and beat 80 is not visible in the timeline because of ...

Re: Lemur : which expression to match volume faders ?
Old post, but still relevant because it wasn't answered yet. Abletons fader curve is a tough nut to crack. I was able to get it exactly right from +6dB down to -18dB. From -18dB down to -70dB I have it almost perfect. Just sometimes there's a neglectible 0.1dB difference. Anyway, please see my Max f...

Might want to try that. Do you have any quick tips? Any lead into the right direction?

Polyphonic effect: sample player where effects have their own voice
Hi all, I experiment quite a bit with digital drumming. Now that I have a Keith McMillen Boppad I want to make full use of its location / radius detection feature. Now I'm looking for a way to accommodate this. I know some Roland VDrum brains send CC16 as posional sensing value. I've also read that ...
