Re: Poll about Live 11.2. What's your experience ?
2021 16” M1 MBP Pro chip 32 gb of ram 2 TB I always left automatic updates on until 11.2, acustica audio plug-ins seem to be freaking out on 11.2, but Ableton as a whole takes a good 2 seconds to load aside from normal loading where everything is greyed out, like a strange let’s find everything type...

Rosetta 2 plug-ins not opening after save question.
Running Live 11.1 on a 16” 32 gb ram 2 TB ssd M1 pro I think live launches in native mode but it seems I’m able to add plug-ins using Rosetta 2 and also binary native ones(not sure if they’re forced into the intel code also under Rosetta), I assume Live then forces itself to run under Rosetta 2? Eit...

Re: Why Ableton Support does not exist anymore ?
I have spent half an hour trying to create some kind of trouble ticket and no luck ! Running inside a loop on Ableton website ! There used to be a form to fill out, but it is gone ! On top of that, they claim (in red). "We are currently experiencing high support volumes, therefore our response...

Ableton hyping Apple in todays event makes me sick + happy
Never mind.
Looking forward to seeing what this 20 Core M1 Ultra chip can do drenched in a heavy CPU hitter 3rd party plug-in real world scenario.

Re: To beta, or not to beta, that is the question...
I think you can run them both. I just thought I want to keep this nice and "clean" so wanted the least messy setup. In the end decided to just stick the normal release on for now as I wasn't sure if beta will share settings or use separate ones etc, so it seemed the easiest. If I can get ...

Re: To beta, or not to beta, that is the question...
So it’s not possible to have both the M1 beta and regular installed at the same time? On a side note, not sure if the M1 beta version of live is binary as in it can open up on an intel mac? But in the future it should be binary and this should be possible correct? So If someone has an arrangement ma...

Has anyone been able to authorize live on 3 computers?
I’m getting a new M1 mac to test out for a couple months and already have live installed on my iMac Pro and current MBP, wanted to know if you guys think there might be a way (reaching out to support) to get a third authorization somehow? About to send an email but wanted to check and see if anyone ...

no need to dither when exporting to 24-bit from 32 bit float session?
reading up on it I'm fairly sure there is no reason why exporting final master from a 32-bit float session at 24 bit would need to be dithered, but just wanted to double check that in theory, exporting a 32-bit and a 24-bit final master from a 32-bit float session would be identical?

Hardware insert(external audio effect) export hiccup? Cpu dropout
Whenever I export with hardware inserts(external audio effects), right away I always get a cpu dropout upon first real time export, I cancel then try again and it’s all good. But yesterday working on a track and did a real time export, got 1 immediate dropout, I canceled and tried again, it seemed t...

Re: Routing to a piece of outboard gear in middle of mastering chain?
Definitely can't render, the only way is to record it in real time to a new track. was surprised to find out that routing out to a piece of outboard gear and back in in the middle of the mastering chain and exporting/rendering is extremely easy, and doesn't require to print in real time to a new tr...
