AMD Ryzen 1700 vs. i5 7500 / i7 7700k and music production
Hi all! Im thinking about buying myself a new (self/custom made) pc. Playing Tracks in Live does not really kill my CPU - but my Core2duo got a slow behavior together with push 2, max for live. Not playing the Instruments. But loading a new Instrument and so-its all a little bit slow. And beside mak...

Re: Remix Competitions
If you upload a mix of music from other artists to youtube, these artists get automatically payed? You are right! IF(!) the Artists agrees to that model. Otherwise your Video will be blocked automatically. And i think this is a great solution for everybody. Thanks to DJ Rewerb i know about this You...

Re: Remix Competitions
Hi Prestondj! Im receiving the Newsletters from wavo.me. They seem to be very busy... Thank you for the hint "https://metapop.com" i registered myself yesterday! It seems really easy to release own remixes via metapop. This is my actual question: What can i do with my Mashups (min. > 8 Tit...

Re: How precisely can you warp with the Push 2?
I find it strange that with all the focus on samples in Push 2 warp editing of both clips and samples isn't naturally implemented in a more useful way. I accidentally thought my push2 would do all that for me. As a Newbie you will expect this (i excepted this). Many vids show how you slice beats/sa...

Re: Simpler Time-stretching
I accidentally thought my push2 would do all that for me. As a Newbie you will expect this (i excepted this). Many vids show how you slice beats/sample - but you have to know: you have to warp the Sample/mp3 first and save this settings in Session View. Then all the next steps like "slicing per...

Re: Push 2 - simpler and loop lengths compared with sample lengt
Hi Jamiewheelo.
Do you mean your sample/loop is not in time/Project BPM?
So it ends before the last beat?

Re: Sharing factory packs on usb drive (mac, pc)
hi, i wasn't suggesting that exFAT was the issue, just pointing out that exFAT has limitations. Hi fishmonkey. Sorry for my "short" answer. With "issue with ExFAT" i meant "all limitations/problems around that Format". I wish to use NTFS or HFS+ but ExFAT is a good com...

Re: Sharing factory packs on usb drive (mac, pc)
Hello fishmonkey. Thank you - but i dont think its an issue with ExFat. And i dont have the checkbox "ignore ownership on this volume" (i have sierra). The search continues: Because it makes me crazy i checked the packs/files on my mac and now i think i understand: The Packs installed on m...

Re: Sharing factory packs on usb drive (mac, pc)
Thank you Jon Mac & Stromkraft! Yes, my usb stick is formated in ExFAT - there is no problem with reading/writing. Yes, i used the typical way in the preferences to change the path of the installed pack to my usb stick. Live 9 (mac) asked me, if i want to move my installed packs to the new place...
