I have tons of VSTs and don’t really do much iOS production, but I’m curious if I’m missing any hidden gems that I can use as AUv3 plugins. Anything unique that may not exist in VST3-land?
Instruments or Effects are welcome.

Re: How do I slice at transients, then save all the slices as WAVs?
Right click (ctrl click) on audio file in arrange view. Slice to new midi track In pop up dialogue select slice to "Transient" & choose eg Sampler Short from built in preset drop down (max 128 slices). Click the "zone" tab and select all zones that appear above the device vi...

How do I slice at transients, then save all the slices as WAVs?
I have 8 bars of a guitar player that I want to slice at transients, then save all the slices as individual WAV files to bring into Kontakt.
What's the fastest way to do this? I don't want to do the slicing/saving manually.
TIA!
edit: nevermind, pretty easy to do in Pro Tools.

STC and Kimidi are amazing. Thank you for that and the Catalina update.

Re: Using Kontakt Host Automation with Live
Disregard: it works, it's just a little weird. In Kontakt you go to Host Automation, drag one parameter (e.g. #001) to the knobs you want to control, then you wiggle one of those knobs with Ableton Configure on, and then Ableton sees not the knob you wiggled, but the parent Host Automation controlle...

Re: Using Kontakt Host Automation with Live
I don't know that this is possible in Live, unfortunately. Haven't been able to find an answer anywhere.

Re: Live slow to load plugins
I've discovered that it only happens on MIDI tracks, and when Push 2 is enabled! Turning it off in the Control Surfaces fixes the problem immediately. Ableton is on the case. Can't believe the problem was right in front of me, literally. But out of my entire setup, the last thing I expected t...

Re: Who programmed the DSP for Ableton's stock plugins?
AAS did some for Ableton too. Ah, that's right. I know they got someone to redo the Compressor and EQ and they got someone else to remodel the filters recently. I speculate Cytomic may of had something to do with the new filters as well. They have an excellent Filter plugin called The Drop that is ...

Who programmed the DSP for Ableton's stock plugins?
Does anyone know who programmed the DSP for Ableton's stock plugins? Obviously Softube did the ones that are labelled as such, and Glue Compressor is Cytomic's The Glue, but I'm curious about the others. AIR did many of the Pro Tools plugins back in the day, and many of Omnisphere's effects were don...

Re: Live slow to load plugins
Update: the issue started happening again shortly after (a few hours). I thought this was clearly a sign of the index database slowing things down, but my Ableton application on an SSD and I tried not loading most of my samples into the sidebar in Ableton so it wouldn't index, and it still happens. ...

Omnisphere Changing Volume
Hi forum! When we open sessions with Omnisphere 2 (and sometimes Keyscape), the volume is often much louder or softer than it was when we last saved and closed it. To the tune of about 18db. - It isn't mod wheel, cc07 (volume) or cc11 (expression), at least from any hardware. Could be expression or ...

Re: Live slow to load plugins
On large sessions, all plugins take 10 seconds to load – even factory audio effects and new samples in drum rack cells. Right now I'm on a pretty big session but it's running at only 20% on my CPU at 512 buffer. So there's no reason it should be doing this. My computer is a Mac with i7 4790k (4.0 G...
