Selecting non-contiguous clips in Arrangement View
Am I missing something? I can select multiple clips in the Arrangement view, but only if they are right next to each other. In other words - if I want to select more than one clip, I have to select a chunk of time (from all tracks). Is this really not possible? If not, is there a good reason why it ...

don't let the price fool you; the creation station desk is wonderful.. it's very well thought out and built solid. i have my G5 on the left side of the bottom shelf and my power amp on the right side. with my rack equipment underneath the monitor shelf and some time spent tediously coiling and affix...

i was about to plonk $$ for a lil phatty yesterday i played with both side by side there is no comparison.. the 3rd oscillator realli helps nail a lot of the moog sounds and wtf was i thinking .. a synth without a noise generator... :S the phatty is an amazing sounding synthesizer. while they'd be ...

mine was just delivered about two hours ago. if fat bass and leads are your concern, do not hesitate. it is insanely fat, very punchy and very direct. the dedicated overload control in the filter section is one of the most amazing knobs i've ever turned: it can send any patch from normal to possesed...

h2k, sweet patch idea! i'm just beginning to appreciate this modualr flavor that ableton is bringing to live. i tried out your idea (with 5 arpeggiators in the midi rack), but i can't get a smooth acceleration. my retriggering is always jagged. turning the rate parameter in an arpeggiator does not y...

thanks for your replies. i have a strong inclination that the sound source is not a sid or samples from a nintendo game, but likely a modular or semi-modular analog synthesizer which has been programmed by a series of control voltage signals to achieve this result. as i wrote in the original post, i...

:Listen: How Is This Sound Made??
Alright Gumshoes, From the beginning of Stereolab's "Feel and Triple" (left channel mono-ized): the sounds in question are one-way arpeggios that accelerate(!) as they go up. At the top of the arpeggio, an intended high note is sustained. It sounds amazing, and I can't figure out for the l...
