Re: Push standalone how to quantize selected notes
A clarification: I'm finding that selecting/quantizing only certain notes is indeed possible, but only in drum racks. Can't really think of a good reason why it shouldn't work the same for melodic tracks though.

Clip automation view jumping to different views automatically?
When I try to edit a clip that has several automated parameters, the view in the Envelopes tab keeps jumping around and displaying different parameters. It seems to do so according to the note being played back, almost like an automation 'follow' view setting is engaged. This is very annoying when ...

Re: Where is swing quantize?
And how do you selectively quantize notes on the push? You just can quantize all notes in a clip. This is so retarded. Sorry, can't help myself. Now with Live 12.1 and the new midi functions, there's still no function to quantize towards shuffle. What is this garbage? Why isn't someone building ...

Why no warp markers for MIDI clips?
I make a lot of my music by playing freely without a metronome, however I still think of music in terms of bars and beats.
When working with virtual instruments in Live, I often find myself wishing I could just place warp markers on events throughout a freely played midi file and drag them to the ...

Re: Push 3S - List of Supported Control Surfaces
I am just getting started using external controllers with my Push 3 Standalone, and I was delighted to see that my Launch Control XL mk2 was automatically recognized and working as a control surface on Push Standalone on version 12.1b9.
However, after I updated to 12.1b10, the Push now crashes ...

Re: Push 3
You can in the clip screen at the top, that said i would like to be able to select some notes and pitch them up or down, not necessarily one or all.
To select multiple notes, use the jowheel to navigate to a note and press it to select the note. You can then repeat the process and add notes ...

Using Push to add effects to an individual drum rack chain/pad??
I keep getting unexpected results when I try to add an effect to an individual drum pad/chain in a drum rack using my Push 3 (controller, non standalone).
First, I select the chain/pad (marked with a little square) by pressing the upper display button. Then I press the + button to add an effect ...

Re: How can I figure out how many notes are in a MIDI file?
thanks for the thought. yeah, i wasn't really finding anything in the way of software or raw published data. i was hoping to compare the 'note density' of a couple different works, and seeing as how there's tons of MIDI transcriptions of classical stuff, i thought it would be as simple as a 'get ...

How can I figure out how many notes are in a MIDI file?
Hi,
I have some MIDI versions of large classical works and I'm curious to know their respective "note count". Does anyone know how to do this, like a "word count" feature in a word processor?
Thx

Re: Allen Carr's Easy Way To Stop Smoking, Anyone Read It?
the book is awesome. worked for me.. after a pack a day for 10 years. no probs.
just read the book with an open mind. the best part is that he says to just keep smoking like normal while you read it.
