Ableton Live can load on a few seconds for simple songs, with midi events, and a few audio files. But load time increases drastically when

the song contains lots of audio files
the song contains complex sofware instruments


When load time is greater than 3-4 seconds, this prevent from ...

How Live works

Live provides two modes : session and arrangement.

Session mode is good for electronic music but becomes very limited for traditional pop music with more complicated structures, like verse, chorus, bridge, post_chorus, etc... Trying to map "traditional" pop songs in session mode ...

The same to me : chrome is in conflict. I did not succeed in correcting it changing chrome options like content for MIDI.
But if a completely kill chrome before starting Live, the display remains connected :)

Using Push2, when I switch to the mix view in Volume mode, audio tracks meters are animated with real-time meters volume activity. But midi tracks do not display anything (meters remains flat).

It would be nice for midi tracks to also display activity instead of nothing as it is the same function ...

I wish I could insert key changes in my set as is :
- the song starts in C major
- at the end it shifts to F major

These key changes would automatically notify push for root note to allow instrument play without the need to set the scale manually.

Ableton Live API provides properties to change the scale for the control surface. It looks the same for Live versions 9.6 and 9.7.

I face the same problem on version 9.6.

As "back to arrangement" is used to escape session mode, it should be quantized. I don't understand why it is not based on global quantization by default...
I've tried sending the B2A command using Clyphx as a clip end instruction but the time to switch from session view misses the begin of the ...
