Use Boss ES8 to control Ableton
So I have a Boss ES8. I have 3 Strymon pedals connected to it. Big Sky, Timeline, Mobius. They are daisy chained together, ES8-Big Sky-Timeline-Mobius. Each pedal is set on it's own MIDI channel. I have programmed the ES8 to see each pedal and make the pc changes when necessary. I want to run out of...

Tempo change on follow action
I have 4 scenes. Each scene has 3 or more clips that run simultaneously. I name the Master, and put in the launch tempo. I put in a follow action on each clip in each scene to launch to the next set of clips/scene. Each scene is set to 4 bars, then launch next. Abletons default tempo is 120. So let'...

Re: play, pause, resume midi in arrangement view
My apologies Adam. I am in Arrangement View. If you can hit shift+space, I can understand how that would be difficult to midi map, but you can do it in pro tools, playback from the last point you stopped. I'm surprised Ableton doesn't have that in settings somewhere.

play, pause, resume midi in arrangement view
I want to put a set together for a concert. I know how to squeeze a few songs together so there is no "dead air space". I know how to make a "stop" clip when I want to pause for a minute to engage the crowd. However, when I hit the play button again, the cursor reverts back to wh...

pod hd500x used as midi controller
I will admit right off the bat that I do not understand MIDI. That being said, I just got a Line 6 PODHD500x. I have been able to figure out how to send commands to Ableton. Here's where I need the help: I want to program the POD to do 4 things on Ableton. Up, Down, Play, Stop. I use up arrow, down ...

foot controller
I am wanting to control Ableton with a foot controller. I would like ti to be simple. Load my scenes, then use the foot pedal to do 3 things. Move down through the scenes, move up through the scenes, start/stop the scenes. Is there a small foot controller can can do this?
Thanks
