I agree with OP, it is way more convenient to use middle click for pan and I never had any problems with it in Cubase or Bitwig (even better as it combines pan and zoom functionality) and after getting used to it, it's very hard to go back to Live's clunky way of doing it. I used to have that problem. But last week I installed updated drivers and followed the updated instructions to re-install 'Instrument' Komplete Kontrol VST.adg The updated instructions now also mention KK MK2 keyboards. Don't forget to also follow instructions on what to select in Preferences > Lin...

I think this is really usefull... maybe they can rethink 'strategy'.
