Just checked out this video demonstration of Groove shaper.
Wondering how to achieve similar chord/melody chopping in Ableton Live Suite 12.
The idea is to have long midi notes dynamically chopped to come up with chords and melody rhythms.

As suggested by the article, Kontakt has an "automation" section in the browser:
Just link the controls there and they will be auto-detected by the control button in Live.

I am trying out Kontakt player, wanted to add it into an Instrument Rack and assign the Macros but I can't:
if I click on the "Configure" button and move knobs in Kontakt, the parameter don't auto populate.

Anyone knows a fix/workaround?

Is there any way I can turn off an EQ8 filter only when its gain is set to zero,
so that if I reduce or increase the gain the filter automatically turns on?

Is there any way to have an EQ8 filter frequency to follow the midi note played on an instrument?
Edit: solved by using the midi effect "expression control" from the Max for Live Essentials pack

update: just installed "Live 11 Suite (Upgrade)" "Version 11.2.7, 3.1 GB" in my other laptop and the M4L Core Library devices are still missing.
It is a bug of the installer?
