I got a voucher for 50% off AudioThing plugins recently.

I;ve read great things about AudioThing OuterSpace, and was about to get it, - but I'm just about to upgrade to Ableton 10, and its new Echo delay seems to cover a lot of OuterSpace, so I'm wondering if I'd be better off putting the few ...

Quick question, is the the upgrade from Live 9 to 10 an "in place" upgrade.
ie.
Is it a case of:
A: Are my plugins, user library, preferences retained?
OR
B: Live 10 is installed as a new, independent piece of software such that I need to reinstall plugins, move content/user-library etc ...

Someone mentioned to me you they don't tend to put any groove/swing on 4/4 beats like the kick, snare and claps. I've been playing around and for what I am trying to do (nu-disco organic grooves) it (some MPC swing) seems to sound better when snare and claps have groove pool on them at least ...

Well, I demo-ed the h-series bundle and ended up buying it.

That h-series reverb, - all I can say is Wow! It's beautiful, and can really do some sweet reverb effects

Yeah, I have ableton suite.
I already use the standard compressor, reverb etc.
Yeah, I was wondering if I would really get much better results with waves than stock ableton plugins.

Have you noticed the hybrid plugins give a nicer result? I was looking at this one also. I'm going for a nu disco ...

I'm very tempted by the waves sale at the moment.

I'm looking for "novice level" mixing plugin. Basically I'd like to just be able to get half decent stems out to a 3rd party for "finishing" mixdown/master.

if Ihad to start all over again I would get Push first, you wont know how much productive you are with an instrument that is actually useful for writing music over just more content.
