Re: No sound from Moog Sub 37 connected to Babyface audio
Please see this http://imgur.com/a/z0dQJ The way I have cables connected from Babyface to Moog Sub 37: http://imgur.com/a/z0dQJ So question is why no audio recorded or heard from the Moog that is connected to both Macbook (Apple Mac OS X Sierra) via USB and MIDI into the Babyface? I tried both exter...

Re: No sound from Moog Sub 37 connected to Babyface audio
So to get sound the Babyface has a split cable would I just have one MIDI cable plugged into the Babyface and the other end to the Moog output MIDI interface? If you do have an example of how you were able to get your setup working with a screenshot to follow that would be super helpful and awesome ...

No sound from Moog Sub 37 connected to Babyface audio
Hi all, I have a Babyface RME Pro connected to my Macbook laptop and Moog Sub 37 synth. I have MIDI setup but cannot get any sound from the Moog during monitoring enabled or playback during recording sessions in Ableton Live 9. I have the Ableton settings for MIDI and MIDI communication is showing g...

Re: Babyface RME Pro setup for Ableton
Yeah I heard back from RME support and they did indeed confirm the requirement for XLR cables. So looks like time to order some!

Re: Babyface RME Pro setup for Ableton
Many thanks, I think the root cause is that I did not have XLR cables from the Babyface RME Pro to the monitor speakers and someone told me on another forum that it is mandatory to use XLR cables from the Babyface to the monitors. I was using 1/4 inch instrument cables.

Babyface RME Pro setup for Ableton
I am trying to get my new Babyface RME Pro audio interface working with Ableton Live. I setup the drivers and software on Windows 10 but no audio comes from my connected speakers which work as I tested them earlier with another setup. Below is my setup

Re: Controlling external synthesizers with Push 2?
Ah, I see. Thanks for the tips and insights!
I will have to experiment today with it. I can send MIDI IN/OUT from the Moog via Audio interface and then try this as an external instrument from the Push controller.

Re: Goodbye Ableton
Ableton is kind of a frustrating product to learn but not that bad. Once you get the hang of it, the workflow is awesome especially using a Push controller. To me, the beauty of the product is the flexibility to create things quickly on the fly and custom edit sounds in a million different ways. But...

Playing scenes and tracks in sequence from Ableton Live
Hi all, So I have several scenes in my Ableton workflow with audio and MIDI tracks. I want to play scene 1-2-3-4 in sequence and then loop back to scene 1 after the last scene plays. I know that I can do this with individual audio and MIDI clips with the Launch command but would I do this for an ent...

Re: Need help getting Korg Minilogue working with Ableton Live
Right, I figure this out. I did return the Korg for a Moog Sub 37 and have most of it sorted out.
Love the Moog! The Korg felt like a cheap toy in comparison.

Re: Struggle to get external Moog synthesizer to work!
Thanks, I was able to record audio from the Moog to an audio track. However, no audio gets recorded to MIDI track. I did create an external instrument and map settings from the Moog to both MIDI and audio tracks. Here is my configuration: http://imgur.com/a/jBOm4 Now the thing is sometimes I get cra...

Re: Controlling external synthesizers with Push 2?
I see so what I specify the Push as the controller in the MIDI/audio preferences from within Ableton? Do I need to connect anything from the Push controller to the audio interface or Moog external synthesizer? I see two connectors in the back for that.

Controlling external synthesizers with Push 2?
Is there an easy way to control external synthesizers using the Ableton Push 2 controller and if so, how would I set this up? I have a Moog that works great but having the ability to use it from just the Push 2 would be awesome!

Struggle to get external Moog synthesizer to work!
Hi, Been struggling past day to setup the new Moog to record audio and playback from Ableton Live 9. So far, I have setup the hardware to send/receive MIDI and sound and Ableton can see the MIDI device. Re: NI Komplete vs Moog Sub37
Funny as I recently went through this exact exercise and debate with a local online music buddy. So, I took a visit to the local GC store to try them out. I hated the cheap look and feel of the Komplete S49 controller. The knobs and dials were not intuitive and did not not great. THEN, I tried the M...
