Homemade tb-303 , made for under $50. Given to me in Germany by 2 dudes that claimed it was the first prototype made by Roland. It has a midi in. If there is any truth to the legend of it, than Roland was using MIDI on the tb-303 during the prototype stages instead of voltage sync. I sketched the c...

Put that channel's monitoring ON. Fill the regular channel with blank clips or whatever other clips of the right length (you won...

Erm, no, I didn´t. I find I grow more critical but there is still plenty of stuff that profoundly moves me.disco45 wrote:Have you noticed how as the years go by music moves you less than ever....

What you´d need is a set of paralel bandpass filters with some resonance and a tab...

pj is right. if its your first go round with synthesis, then power tools for synthesizers is the one you want. if youve been at it a while its going to take a couple passes for you to dig out new info, but if its a new subject to you itll help quite a bit. I´m always a bit weary of recomending book...

I second the sugestions of the Computer Music Tutorial and the Csound book. Most other texts are either just aimed at one synth or don´t go beyond substractive and fm synthesis. If you are at all instested in grains Microsound (also by Roads) is also well worth you time and money. In adition to the ...
