Once you've found the tempo of your clip you can change Ableton Live's tempo to the same amount so that it'll play at its original speed and other clips will match tempo.

You'll have to warp the sample to make it the same midilength that you want. Perhaps the forum didn't allow your link to be posted. Would be grateful if you could repost the link in a PM. Thanks.
