Re: Ableton Push vs Novation Launchpad Pro (or others?)

I bought a Launchpad Pro about 3 weeks ago. I loved the way I could get hands on control of my sessions / clips - and I love the note / drum modes. But I wanted more so I bought and installed the Arsenal LPP script which gives extra functionality more in line with the push - like drum step sequencer...

Re: MPE support.

Please add my +1 to MPE support I've just discovered how amazing it is to control synths via MPE - from Geoshred on my iPad. It makes me want to purchase a Linnstrument! As Linn's website says "There's a revolution brewing. People are starting to understand how limiting it is to play music with...

Re: Why do clips start at 1 instead of 0?

As I've just posted in another thread about anacrusis here's my thoughts. Music usually (in 4/4) starts on 1.. we count 2 , 3, 4 and then go back to 1. So normally clips should start on Bar 1 Beat 1 (as they do now) But when you have pickup / anacrusis these notes come before bar 1 beat 1. So I thin...

Re: Be able to define anacrusis/upbeat sequence inside clips

+1 for this feature request. It seems like it would be very simple to do if 1.1.1 were defined, assuming the global quanitzation is large enough to fit the pickup notes once the clip is triggered. Honestly I find it hard to believe that this issue has not been sorted out by now. 8O Here's one way I...

Re: Behringer X-Touch with Ableton Live 9.7.x

Thanks for posting this information :) I've been considering getting an X-Touch for a more hands on experience. I have an XR-18 and know it works great with that, and also with Logic really well - but I've looked for info about using X-Touch with Live a few months ago and came up short. Much appreci...

Re: make a midi controller NOT create a sound

I think if you want any device to not trigger sounds in Ableton you can go into the MIDI preferences and untick the "Track" box on the MIDI input for your Korg Nanopad. That way it should never play any of the instruments on the MIDI tracks. I am doing this with my Novation remote SL - tur...

Re: Behringer FCB1010 - Does it hum when powered on?

Mine has hummed since the first time I switched it on 10 years ago.

Amazed to find out I could have just used a plectrum or piece of cardboard to stop it
