Re: sending midi cc messages to external hardware
I'm now using the "Control Change 8" M4L device with D16's Drumazon 909 emulation plug-in and the "External Instruments" devices in a Drum Rack to create a multi-channel 909 for "classic" techno drums. I mapped the 909 parameters (like tune, attack, decay, snappy, etc....

Re: Reverb plug in for Dub Techno?
Eventide reverbs are great, but I would recommend Black Hole over UltraReverb. Black Hole is based on the "Space" reverb algorithm with all the cosmic spaciness you'd expect in dub techno. Otherworldly "room" sizes, useful built-in modulation, and amazing response to size and gra...

Re: Make MIDI Mappings Saveable to Instrument/Drum Racks
+1 for this. It would be nice to be able to just drag a pre-mapped instrument or load MIDI profiles.
As a workaround, I keep every MIDI-mapped instrument and effect in my default template and trim it down each session. This causes a lot of unnecessary work just to start a session, though.

Re: save MIDI-Mapping in devices and/or tracks
+1000000 for this. I have about 200 mappings across 2 devices I use regularly. I also resort to including all midi-mapped devices in my default template and just removing whatever I don't want to use in that session. Saving mappings with devices (or device racks) would significantly improve my workf...
