Re: Live 10 Stability
I'm on OSX, 9 was so very solid, and 10 has been horrible. Downloading 10.03 now, I hope it helps. So far I can't believe 10 made it out of beta

PUSH - Fold time + notes (Horizontal/Vertical folding)
I would love if the note step sequencer in Push could have a 3rd mode to fold notes to only show used pitches (like Live does), *AND* could fold time to show only used steps, so that you only see the active notes. It's not really fun to dig through vertical and horizontal pages to get the note that ...

Please add note and time fold! (vertical + horizontal fold)
I would love if the note step sequencer in Push could fold notes (like Live does), and could fold time, so that you only see the active notes. It's not really fun to dig through pages to get the note that you want to edit when you are doing automation or making changes in the note step sequencer.

Re: HELP - A Sampler question!
Hmm - I can't find any info on note data in wav files. I guess sampler (or Live via ALS) does note detection. I think the solution for me will be to use Simpler, which does not have this issue in regular mode, but I will lose velocity envelope time control!

HELP - A Sampler question!
Yo! I'm using Sampler as the default device for dropping drum samples in the Drum Rack. I need to stop it from trying to figure out the root key of the samples (it automatically scales many samples several octaves and screws them up). I know that you can set the scale to 0%, but it won't keep that a...

Re: Apple forgets about musicians
My TB adapter works great with my MOTU. Ableton forum users are so grumpy lately.

Re: Mininova- the best Novation product I ever used.
I really like the look of it, and I'm sure the sound engine has made leaps, but It really seems like the interface is a huge jump backward from the X-Station. Too many parameters are hidden and there is no XY pad. The XS also had wonderful keys, I'm not sure how these compare.

Re: Best audio interface for latency vs price
if you are having latency with anything you simply have not put enough time into getting rid of the latency, or found the right driver and driver settings that will make latency a non-issue That's not true, when you need to get down to around 9ms or less total roundtrip to keep from having that ech...

Re: Apple $29 Thunderbolt > FireWire adapter lives!
Just hooked up my UltraLite Mk3 (FW only) to my new 13" MBA, and it seems to work like a charm.. it even powers it just fine, even off of battery. I don't have my condenser mic handy, but switching the 48v switch on works as well (not sure if it will actually draw more power with no condenser attach...

Re: Dual core vs. quad core - how will I notice the difference?
In looking the Live 8 perfomance thread, almost seems like the architecture of the iMac, Mac Pro, and 15" Macbooks make more of a difference than processor details.

Re: LIVE 8 PERFORMANCE TEST - Results Here
Informal post, but I tested this in a store on the current 13" low end MBP and MBA and got around 34% peak on both.
