Re: Live + 3rd party plugins = FAIL

If Live can't sync accurately with automation or to the song clock with plugins it's worth bearing in mind while working on projects that need sample-accuracy in this area. Thank you ninox_rufa for steering this thread and letti...

Re: How do i change all the audio clips of a project to complex
In complex mode the sound is changed even if the tempo is not shifted. I wouldn't use it as a default.

Re: Key command for Activate/Deactivate Clips (on mac OS)
That one isn't in the menu bar. It's a context menu only feature so not accessible via mac shortcuts. I usually click the track name holding control down and then hit "s" afterwards to select track contents. Not quite a single stroke...

Complex Warp mode changing audio played at original tempo??
From the Ableton manual: The algorithms used in the Complex and Complex Pro Warp modes use an entirely different technology from the algorithms behind Beats, Tones, Texture and Re-Pitch modes. Although the Complex modes may sound better, particularly when used with mixed sound les containing many di...

That's odd. It's been working here. You need to insert all entries as shown for it to work consistently.

Key command for Activate/Deactivate Clips (on mac OS)
This is actually a tip from Ableton Support. Many thanks to Torsten who got this working. If you want to make Activate/Deactivate Clips (or Notes) work with a shortcut, you can via the mac OS. Just insert all the following in system preferences/keyboard/keyboard shortcuts/application shortcuts: Acti...

Re: question about cutting audio clips

Re: Latency issues in 8.2.1
When monitor = OFF, that's the expected behaviour. Well that doesn't happen here on 8.2. Audio placement is delayed if I choose "auto" or "in" but not in "off". It seems to me that in 8.2 the system knows how to place audio that occurs in real time during the time it i...

Re: Latency issues in 8.2.1
Comparing 8.2 with 8.2.1 the following occurs: When I make an adjustment to the recording buffer, audio recorded from an output back to the input behaves differently. In 8.2, the audio stays in the same place no matter what the setting of the buffer. I am talking about the buffer used to prevent cli...
