Ability to define a stop point in Arrangement

I've seen a few hacks for how to create a stop track via MIDI routing etc. but it seems rather basic to have a simple and direct way to define where the "end" of my track or set is (if I want). In Logic Pro X you simply drag a bracket that sits at the end of the measure counter to where you want it....
