using mpc500 as a midi controller for ableton live

does anybody knows how it works. i managed to control both as master and slave for start/stop but i still want to use the pads for sampling stuff (drum rack/clips etc)

hope somebody can help or has expirience.

i have a presonus interface as well and they pretty good too! but you get better quality and more features at focusrite in the same price range. i can higly recommand the focusrite plugins. they are really usefull. you should not take the pro 26. its out of date and actually no longer available. the...

i want to use the transport-section without configurating with every new project. is there a possibillity to configure live that it alswas uses the transport-section at every beginning automatically??

i have the same problem since 7.0.3 also with an empty set. actually i cant turn down my latency. its hard to play in time with 2048 samples :/

i have mac os x 10.4.11 and tryed with 7.0.3 and 7.0.2 and a presonus firebox

i think will return to 7.0.2

hey i use live 7 and i think i found a bug: i opened a set with just one synth in it. i had a low latency-settings (i think 128 samples). thank i switched to an old project with many plugins and tracks. when i played this set with my current settings i had 70-80%cpu. i changed my settings to 700-800...

too late! now i own a pair of event alp5 and they satisfy my ears more than enough! i'm totally in love with them.

i can imagine that the a7's are better but i cant pay over 700 euro for a pair of monitors. also i'm a beginner in mixing.

true! but the subwoofer is about 420€! thats more than a pair of hs-50. for hs-10 and hs-50 together i could some nice adam a7.

i can imagine. i listen to some of my favourite music over the events and there's such big differece. i'm so amazed. its a must hear if youre looking for some good monitors.
