TBF, MIDI 2.0 is going to allow many, if not all, of the functions of MPE and will be coming in the next few years. An to the protocol already in use in Live seems more likely than the addition of an entirely new protocol. Not to say that this is something people should have to wait a few years for,...

I was playing around with EQ8 and found that, with the expanded view, the default CC values seem to be in the wrong place. Mapping a note to the chain selector allows you to increment the chain by one every time you press that note :)

When you're in MIDI map mode and you click on a parameter to map in Live, look at the status bar at the bottom of Live. 'Relative' Takeover Mode

Instead of relying on Value Scaling, why not just have a Takeover Mode that adjusts your encoder value relative to whatever the macro is set at? That why it's always accurate and you can avoid jumping values.
