Do you know if it's possible to modify the Mackie Control surface scripts that come bundled with Ableton? Any tutorials? Using python you could assign a control surface button to a key command.

What does that even mean? I'd rather not have to pay €60 for this tiny little job. I'd rather edit the Mackie Control Script that comes bundled with ableton but it's all compiled byte code.

This sort of thing is standard in Logic. Surely there's are simple way in ableton?

I can't believe there isn't more people requesting this. Every other app on my mac uses multi-touch gestures natively now, cumon Ableton, this is driving me up the wall! Is this feature likey to be added? It would greatly improve workflow for anyone working on a mac.

I think you can do this if you hold ctrl (windows) CMD (mac). However, pinch to zoom on mac would make zooming much better.

Unbelievable that you still cannot pinch to zoom in live!! Please implement this Ableton, would make navigation so much easier and just like all other software....
