I have the same problem also, the push sequencer is next to useless for many hardware applications because of this note retrigger problem.

I have the same problem. Triggering Tip Top drum modules which don't retrigger properly on straight 16ths and I want to make the default note length a little shorter. Switching the grid to 1/32 is a pain, as then sequencing on the Push 2 isn't as nice, and manually changing notes after defeats the p...
