HI Guys

Is anyone running this successfully? After spending freakin ages getting the latency bang on in Ableton 6 I gotta presume 7 will be exactly the same but you never know. Does the hardware intergration synth thing ableton has have any use with virus and latency.....

I just routed the audio in on the virus cahannel i was recording on back to the virus viola

I might have already asked you this, but did you try this with the virus as your soundcard? That is known to sometimes help timing issues as well..

It doesnt even move when i put delay compensation on and adjust the settings - i;d love some help on this if anyone can.......

however i still can';t get it to run on time in ableton. I'm not a 100% sure how to use it as a hardware synth only and the live button on VC throws it out as well

as much as i keep trying i can not get the thing to record in time. nothing i try seems to really work.

Soft synths are almost as good in sound esp NI Massive and some other synths.

I can not be bothered with the hassle that this hardsynth brings

I hope other peeps have had better luck

I've found a way to record MIDI into Virus Control (VC) without delayed MIDI. The core of this problem is that Live uses the a plugin's advertised latency to delay MIDI notes that it records, but only on channel one . The trick is to go around this by not recording into VC's part 1, and by not reco...

yep - i too have problems syncing ableton 6 with the Virus TI

I know there are peeps out there who have no syncing problems at all with ableton and virus

please tell me who you are and how you did it!!! arrrgh lol

any help at all though so greatly appreciated as dont want to switch to cubase
