are you 100% sure my f3jv won't be able to make use of more memory than 2GB? ok, after a little bit of internet research, it seems the maximum RAM for this laptop is indeed 2GB. bummer. The same with mine. Nevertheless there are 3GB running in my system with XP, and 4GB are possible, actually. Do n...

A thing to that nasty speedstepping thing. I use my notebook for audio stuff, which is a Core 2 Duo (T7200) with 2GHz. Using Notebook Hardware Control, I set it to profile "Max. performance". What I get is still constant switching between 1GHz and 2GHz (6x and 12x). Both NHC and CPU-z show...

Can you, actually? I enabled it, started loading audio files into RAM instead of streaming them from the harddisk. What I get is a filled RAM, even above 2GB, but Live becomes less stable and REPORTS DISK OVERLOADS. Can somebody explain that? I free the disk load and get an overload so that certain ...

Last route is always using the Windows drivers (at least for one of the devices). That should work in case the tip from misteron isn't operable:-).

I am just trying to get a way for using it quite efficiently. Nearly anything I am doing comes out of Live/VST synths, so keeping all soft synths and samplers and drum machines inside Live I would certainly get a slight :) overload when stacking up more than 2 songs. So exporting them to audio/freez...

Well, that was just a guess, as it seems to be that way in my case. I'll tell you how it is here: I have one process (Live.bin or alike) in the task manager, bumping at 50% on hi load. As well as Ableton shows me a processor usage of 50% when it begins crackeling. So I assume that Live is only using...

I meant it could be possible that the button is greyed out when you don't have Reason open as a Rewire client. Seems as if this idea was wrong. While we're talking about multicore support - Ableton Live itself HAS multicore support. I have it enabled, but as far as I have recognized, Live is only on...

Yes, the old system is still working. It is a bit of work for you, but I will export the service list and will post it here. Note that my personal disabling seems to have provoked the arbitrary dropouts of the BCR. Also, as I came to realise that it might be connected to my wild service-abortion ses...

djsyncho, I just set up a new system and tweaked it for audio and stuff. Did you manually disable services for Windows being quicker and unloading crap you don't (seem to) need? I already had the suspicion that the cause for the bad work with the BCR was a result of disabling one or the other servic...

Still only successful with the native Windows drivers or even with the BCR/BCF drivers now? Seems to be a little miracle how this device works (or even doesn't work;-)).
Anyway, good you got it sorted somehow. Good luck for your tune-ing!

That's too strange with your BCR (like mine some weeks ago, imagine me being dependent on it in a practice with my drummer, slowly getting mad everytime in the beginning). I started with Rev 02 back then and stayed with it. Tried once the Rev 05 which was the latest back then but only had problems w...

May I report in? I also have TinyXP, still the best for audio production :) . With either the USB device and the dedicated BCR driver the BCR works now. I fear it isn't connected to the HID stuff...
