Lame. So much lameness. Or is it me. I just want to control my amplitube and see treble middle and bass and gain and all those very much standard parameters. I have to develop code in order to do that?

I just got off the phone with Motu and they said the Microlite is super simple and there's really not much one can do wrong. He also said it would work with any USB hub powered or nonpowered. I'm still struggling with and I can't figure it out it's driving me nuts. I'm running 10.6.8on a 2009 MacBook

Thanks so much for the reply. I actually tried a regular USB to hub and a newer powered USB 3 hub and ran into problems. Plus on the MacBook 2009 werent they still using USB 2.0 Maybe I need a powered USB 2 hub is what I'm thinking.

Has this been resolved I would love to know. Bunch of open ended posts with no resolution. I'm in the same boat where I'm using to external synths and the notes hanging on both of them using the Microlite Apogee ensemble and MacBook Snow Leopard

Thanks for the response. So where should I save my files, or what should the default path be? Essentially what i need is for me to click ableton.exe, start recording some stuff and then it create a project automatically with all the data for that project in my folder. My path is in library right now...

With ableton 5 when I started a new song and saved it, each song had its own audio files folder. With version 6 it saves it all to one general folder. How can I get Live to automatically create a audio folder for each session? Do I need to create a template or something like that?

I have an Apogee mini and an MBox that I am using with a box that has 2gigs of ram and dual core processor. Brand new box.

I have the ASIO drivers and there is latency that is definitely noticeable. How can I get it to the point where I can record instruments without getting any latency?

Thanks so much for the prompt response... I'll try out CDEX. It seems like this should be something simple to do without using other software considering any other sequencing software will do this. :)

When I drag it, it says unsupported format. All I did was import songs off of a cd which is very simple in PT for example. Apparently I have to convert this into a format which Ableton will read. Any suggestions on how to do this?

So, I'm pretty new to Live. Awesome tool!

How can I take an imported track off of a cd and get it into Ableton? Seems like this should be an easy task but just can't find any info on this...
