Recording lock current edit screen
The idea is that if you are using Ableton with two screens that recording stays locked to your choice of arrangement/clip window even if you are editing back and forth so that when you start recording it is always on arrangement/clip view without having to click on the correct screen. Ableton would ...

Use 2 Monitors & Switch Btwn Them W/O Moving Them L/R
Hi, I hope that I make my question clear enough. When I am using 2 monitors while working, it really slows down my workflow when I go from the left screen to the right to do things and I have to remember to click the mouse on the Session screen before recording a new clip. (For example, maybe I was ...

Re: CPU usage in Live 10
I don't mean to be rude to those who are doing tests etc to check CPU usage. It's gone further than that--we who are having problems are not dreaming… No-one have suggested that. Als...

Re: CPU usage in Live 10
Hi, I'd like to submit an update. I switched to the ASIO4ALL drivers which helped me to use a lower latency and smaller buffer size but then there were intermittent times, for example, when changing notes in a clip with the mouse, that the computer would just freeze for a second or two. So I still c...

Re: CPU usage in Live 10
Hi, just wanna say I'm also having issues without changing any settings on my Audient iD14 after changing over from Live 9 and opening the same project on Live 10 there are now lots of crackles and artifacts. ThinkPad T430s w/i5-3320M and 16G of RAM. Changing latency and buffer settings has made som...
