Phasers?
Anyone have any recommendations for a M4L phaser? Paid options are fine. I've checked out a few free devices from maxforlive.com and while ok, they haven't blown me away. FWIW, Fazortan has been my favorite plugin phaser I've heard, but have yet to find something in the ballpark of that. Just lookin...

Re: Increasing Window Size?
Here you can download a zip file containing a short explanation with some supporting images. I hope it helps. I'm insanely late on this, but thank you for the help! Unfortunately, like you mentioned before, it just expands the window size, but not the actual contents (dials, sliders, etc...). Not s...

Re: Increasing Window Size?
After some puzzling, I managed to add a zoom function to Pulsor2 using some code from Bengal. Now I need to find a good way to explain clearly how I did this. That would be really helpful! Unfortunately, I don't have Bengal or any of the other Max for Cats devices (though I'd like to pick them up!)...

Increasing Window Size?
Hi all,
Just wondering if there's a way to increase the pop out window size of a M4L device? Specifically, I have Pulsor 1 & 2 and boy is the window small on my monitor. Would appreciate any insight on if/how I could make this change since I don't know much beyond the basics of Max.

Re: Default Gain Staging of Clips
My guess would be a mix of a sort of "loudness war" and it just being easy to say "make everything hit at 0 db" for the sake of consistency when scrolling through. Could they have everything hit at -8db? Sure, but that's not the way it is. Like chrk mentioned, most people want st...

Re: master track effects
In addition to The Glue and EQ, I like the Color Limiter M4L device that comes with Suite.

Re: Pitch Bend Range?
I wasn't aware that Intro provides presets with the non-Intro instruments. All of Live basic core instruments and effects are installed with Intro, and on the License/Maintainance preferences tab you can (or at least could when I used it) unlock a demo mode where you can access them all, but not sa...

Re: Pitch Bend Range?
Sorry man I finally got what you meant but was at work all day :x . I also found a work around after this post. I just resampled it and then I was able to automate the transposition. It appears I cannot do the editing in my version; Oh well someday I can get the full version! Glad to hear it! Sorry...

Re: Pitch Bend Range?
That's the problem. Everyone knows how to do with with simpler, which I'm not using. If I'm not using simpler, is there just no hope? Thanks for the info on octaves/semitones Which instrument are you using? I've removed all of the factory presets from Ableton, so I'm not sure which one is in the In...

Re: Pitch Bend Range?
An octave is 12 semitones. Two octaves are 23 semitones etc. Pitch bend range in general depends on how the synth receiving pitch bend is set to respond to it, and is usually set for each synth patch/program. Justanametouse has explained how Simpler is limited in pitch bend response and how that ca...

Re: Pitch Bend Range?
Which instrument is being used in that rack? I'm assuming Simpler. If so, see my reply at the bottom of this post:

Re: Change automation
You can make a selection of the automation points you want to move by highlighting them and click-dragging one of the points. Alternatively, you could just add a Utility device at the end of your effects chain and adjust the gain.
