Ditto Audacity (it's free anyways) with the lame encoder. Just follow instructions on Audacity's page they explain how to install the Lame plugin for mp3 encoding.

It looks like a more 'manual' way of doing beat repeat. From the little bit I played with beat repeat, I'd think you can do everything in there (perhaps except doubling / halving the speed and reverse the sample) with the beat repeat in live and assigning controllers.

Hmm I don't know but usually what causes feedback on stage is either noise and/or some frequency that is amplified by how the room is made. So I'd think this'll depend on what room you do your show in, so you might have to change this depending on the room. I used to do this before I went fully digi...

Oh yes, most definitely. If you're going to do any live stuff with Live, then this is a must. But screw that, it's a must anyways...

+1, and thanks for the great screen shots to the person who took time to do them, they illustrate perfectly what this feature could or should be. I didn't bother reading all the other messages (10 pages, whew!) but I'd say at least, this group track would be a simple "visual" enhancement, ...

My BIG +1 goes to grouping tracks and creating 'clones' or 'aliases' or 'instances', whatever you want to call it. Should be easy, really. Go Ableton!

Tip: instead just add more tracks and route your audio to that track that contains the settings you want (using the "Audio to" selection near the fader in session view"). So then all your tracks will have the same processing but you don't duplicate all those plugins / instruments etc ...

Ah come on, what if you have a sample in your garbage can? You may need it sometime ;-0

"System Volume Information" sounds like there should be some killer sounds in there...

Seriously, +1

I think the multiple track approach would be fine if at least there was a way to group tracks and then collapse them somehow (a little + / - button). And I think you should consider simplifying your guitar rig :) Have you tried Vox Tonelab? I'm ditching my sansamp... The only effect I add is sometim...

Ditto, color coding is super easy to implement and so useful. Would be nice to be able to color a track (instead of just the clips), makes it all easier to spot when you have many tracks.
