Vocal Gymnastics

So I made this track by recording a vocal sample of my voice and manipulating it into every instrument you hear. This includes the drums, bass, synths, fx..etc. The sample I used is the first recording you hear in the beginning, and it is the only one I used in the whole track. http://soundcloud.com...

Drum Rack Expanding

This has probably been asked for before, but it would be helpful if you could expand the drum rack upwards so you can be looking at more than just 16 samples at a time. This would help with organizing and finding the different samples with in it, especially with racks that make use of almost every o...

Re: MONITER HELP PLEASE!!!

Okay, so this explanation will probably be longer than it needs to be but oh well. So theres four possible ways for you to send audio from a channel when you have you monitors coming out the master and your headphones set up for the cue out 1) Audio is playing and sent to both the master and the cue...

Re: District 9

I thought it was the best movie to come out of the summer, and some of the sound effects were just nuts. Every time that alien christopher or his kid were going through stuff on the computer screens there were hundreds of weird sounds wizzing by...and I get annoyed at not being able to turn the star...

Saving a default midi clip setting

Okay so whenever I insert a midi clip I want the adaptive grid to be set to 'narrow' instead of 1/16 on the fixed grid as it is now. I've tried dragging the clip into all the folders in Library > Default just as in saving the defaults for instruments and audio effects etc, but to no avail, the grid ...

Re: 5 Noob Live Questions.....?

Hey there, 1) No, the groove settings only affect the timings of the notes in the midi clip and wouldnt affect the sample being played back in sampler. If you want to add groove to a sample you could just drop it into an audio track and then apply groove to the clip. 2) Though I dont own one, i'm fa...

2 little things in impulse and beat repeat

1) Would love to have a visual image of the sample thats put into an impulse slot. something like the view on simpler. It would make adjusting the start position much easier...just to give an example

2) The pitch decay and the volume decay should have the option to be reversed.

The only recommendation I could give myself is for O.T.T. Yeah Ott just has those fat basses, floaty pads and overall dubby feeling down to a science. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLqdlVRUmrw&feature=related not a great video but you can get the jist of it. It's number two on my Gear-List, ju...

you could map a knob or button to the start time of the clip. have the range be from the beginning of the clip to wherever the middle is. then you press the button or turn the knob all the way and the start position will move all the way there. OR just copy the clip(s) and have their start positions...
