Re: Request: Max for Live Blocks
Maybe I'm missing something here (probably am), but why are BEAP objects bigger than the vertical limit? Kind of renders them useless. https://preview.ibb.co/kFvNQT/Screen_Shot_2018_06_22_at_11_03_20_AM.png It appears I'm not missing something. This video shows a M4L device being created with BEAP,...

Polytek requires Suite too, "To be fully functional".

Re: Does buying Max 4 Live allow you to download all M4L Packs?
A couple need Suite:
Hypermorph
Tricky Traps
Both say Live 9 Suite required, so maybe an update would make them available for 10 Standard?
Who knows, those are the only two in the shop though.

Okay, it appears the answer is yes. Just checked the page for one of the Packs: https://www.ableton.com/en/packs/creative-extensions/#?item_type=max_for_live Says: Requirements Live 10 Standard (version 10.0 or higher) Max for Live (version 8.0 or higher) Looks as though others are this way too.

Does buying Max 4 Live allow you to download all M4L Packs?
I am currently on Live 10 Standard and am looking to add Max for Live, separate from Suite (there just isn't much I can see I would use in Suite beyond Max for Live). My question is, can you download and use the Packs in the Ableton Shop that say "Included in Live 10 Suite" if you just hav...

Re: Request: Max for Live Blocks
Was not aware of that, thanks for letting me know. Still, the fact that this feature is kind of tucked away and hidden suggests to me that it needs more attention, if not more development.

Request: Max for Live Blocks
Would be cool if there were more building blocks for Max for Live, sort of like Reaktor 6, for people like me who aren't into coding but still would like to use Max for Live to create things. I know there are already some building block type of tools out there, including an Ableton Pack for download...

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking maybe that version was for developers or something.
Hey, I said it was a dumb question.

Suite isn't required for Max for Live?
I'm currently on Standard, and don't have all that much interest in all that comes with Suite, but I do have interest in Max for Live. I just recently noticed that Max for Live is for sale individually on Ableton's site, so dumb question here, but you don't need Suite to use Max for Live? I could ju...

Re: Is there a way to "reset" the capture
Disarming a track then arming again seemed to work, except the last time I tried it I still got a massive sized clip. I'm also mostly getting clips for only the last note. :? Oh well. Still kind of a useful feature I guess, in that stores what you've done in case you want to use it, which I guess is...

Is there a way to "reset" the capture
I was messing around with a patch and a scale, hit the capture button once I started to get something I liked, and it gave me a 90 bar clip with every single little thing I had played the past few minutes.
Is there a way to clear the cache? So that I can so of, refresh the capture?

New Notepad (or a way to pin the current Info Text)
Just thought of a good solution:
Add a way to pin a track's notes so that it always stayed in view.
Could be set up rather easily:
Right click a track's title, and under "Edit Info Text" there could be a "Pin Info Text" which pinned the notes to remain visible.
