Try to remove some plugins from the Plugin folder and see if the lag goes away, it might also work in your case!
Hold down the ALT key while launching Live. This will disable all plugins so you can easily test if the performance is better without plugins.
Good one! I didn't know that.

SOLVED GUI lag issues

I had the same GUI lag issue. It wasn't constantly but occured once every 5 mins or so. It was unbearable to work with. I managed to get rid of this problem by removing a plugin: Native Instruments Kontakt Player. After deleting the vst from the plugins folder, Abletons GUI was running smooth again....

Simpler "group to drum rack" not working suddenly?

Hi, I have a problem occurring for some time now, and that is when I use the "slice" mode on simpler and try to group the individual slices to a drum rack, the drum rack appears empty (only the main sample contains in the drum rack). I use the "group to drum rack" function in Sim...

Unwanted retrigger of sustaining note on the second bar

Hi, I stumbled across a weird issue which I have never had before. When I have a midi note with a sustaining length of 2 bars, it always retriggers again on the second bar. It doesn't matter which instrument I use, so it seems to me that this is some midi input error. In the clip view there is clear...

Re: Broken loop brace in sample editor in Live 10?

It's actually an audio clip editor. Viewing it as a sample editor probably risk making you disappointed in the long run, even if you can prepare samples in clips and the boundaries are fuzzy. I wanted to be thoroughly so I looked up at the Ableton "info view menu". It refers the audio edi...

Re: Broken loop brace in sample editor in Live 10?

Hi Stromkraft. I know that auto-zoom is a feature but I don't think it should happen when I'm dragging the loop brace around. I kinda like the clip zooming in arrangement view (press z), but the auto-zoom in the sample editor is in my opinion not really useful and it only slows me down in my process...

Broken loop brace in sample editor in Live 10?

I have a question about the loop brace in the sample editor in Live 10. I work a lot with samples and like to hear loops within an audioclip by dragging the loop brace around while the track is playing. (I usually work in arrangement view so the audioclip is played from the arrangement) I've noticed...
