Hey - Has anyone modified the surround panner to include other speaker layouts? I'd love to see a 5.1 or 7.1 layout. What I'd really love to see is a way to freely define the number and location of those speakers. No, I haven't yet dug into the Max patch.... Wise to check if the tool is available fi...

This is disappointing. Hmmmm. It would seem to me that the panner should be able to be set to accept 'any' number of speakers at any distance and angle... if you had to define outputs as pairs of speakers, why not simply ignore (not use) one output...the panner is separate from the outputs....
